When one produces a horror movies, one of the most important thing is the place where the shootings of the horror movie take place. Sinister locale are excellent places to shot a horror movie and that is what horror movie producers look out for.

With Halloween being so near, not is the right time to share with you the ten horror movie inspiration places of all times!

Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts - JawsMartha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts – JAWS

Even though it is set on the fictional ‘Amity Island’, Steven Spielberg’s horror movie was actually shot this beach off the coast of Massachusetts. The bottom of this location is only 30 feet deep even 12 miles out to sea. After the film’s release, this location attracted much more tourists from all over the world.

The film was shot after the mall closed i.e after 10pm. The filming took place till 6am and joking apart.. the cast for sure most probably felt like zombies by the end of the shoot!

Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco, Blairstown, New Jersey is the camp that was used as Camp Crystal Lake in Friday the 13th. Yearly visits by children take place to this same camp..fortunately, parents do not seem to be bothered to send their kids to this camp.
