A giant comet strike is on it’s way to destroy our planet according to a best-selling author.

Graham Hancock claims that fragments of a huge comet, hidden inside a cloud of meteors, are heading for earth – which could wipe out the human race.

The author, who sold three million copies of his book ‘Fingerprints of the Gods’ in 1995, says that the strike would be more powerful than all the nuclear weapon on earth.

He claims that prophetic warnings were left by an extinct civilisation, who he calls the ‘Magicians’, in artefacts such as the Gobekli Tepe and tell us of a comet that will strike the Earth soon.

Graham says: ‘These Magicians left a message for us – not a metaphorical, spiritual message, but a direct and urgent warning.’

‘What happened before can happen again; what destroyed their world can destroy ours.’

‘Within the next 20 years, Earth faces a catastrophe a thousand times worse than the detonation of every nuclear weapon on the planet – a collision with the remnants of a comet big enough to end all life as we know it.’

‘The earth passes through the Taurid meteor stream which is the greatest collision hazard facing mankind.’

‘Astrophysicist Victor Clube and astronomer Bill Napier believe in it is the remnants of the fragmented giant comet which hit the earth 12,800 years ago and there are some big lumps up their as well as some pretty meteors.’

Graham also claims that 12,800 years ago a comet Antarctica and completely wiped out an advanced human civilisation. He said the the impact has not been detected because the ice cap was two miles thick and the crater melted away.

NASA have already responded to claims that a massive asteroid will destroy the earth this month.

Well, we’ve seen what it looks like in movies:
