Cult leader Charles Manson is reportedly clinging to life three days after being admitted to a California hospital.
Sources told TMZ that Manson, 83, was rushed to Bakersfield hospital and is being wheeled on a gurney that’s being escorted by five officers. An insider told the tabloid that Mason appears pale as he lies motionless in bed, covered with blankets.
“It’s just a matter of time,” they said.
“It’s not going to get any better for him.”
The 83-year-old was previously hospitalized in January for a severe intestinal lesion that required surgery to repair. However, doctors determined at the time that he was too weak to undergo the procedure and sent him back to prison.
Manson is serving life without parole for leading his followers on a murderous rampage in Los Angeles from August 9-10, 1969, that claimed the lives of actress pregnant Sharon Tate, Abigail Folger, Wojciech Frykowski, Leno and Rosemary LaBianca, Steven Parent, and Jay Sebring.
Manson’s death sentence was commuted to life after California ruled the death penalty unconstitutional in 1972.
