The film was produced by Lee Dashiell and Leslie Easterbrook (Police Academy 1-6) and was written and directed by Jason Stoddard and executively produced by David Hilburn. The film stars horror-icon and legendary stuntman Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th, Hatchet, The Devil’s Rejects) and Leslie Easterbrook (Police Academy 1-6, The Devil’s Rejects, Halloween) in a gripping and true-life story of torment, mental and physical abuse. Torn from the headlines, this film explores the dark and deranged mind of a mentally sick woman as she uses religious rhetoric to impose her will unto her family with tragic results.

Leslie Easterbrook plays the lead role of ‘Mother Maggie’, a disturbed mother of four who delivers an unimaginable level of abuse to her children while defending her actions with her own twisted interpretations of the Bible. Three daughters live in constant fear of being beaten and abused by their mentally disturbed mother. Escaping the wrath of their mother seems impossible and proves to be deadly. The film is based on the story of Theresa Knorr and takes you inside the lives of those who live in constant fear with no escape.

The unrated short trailer features the return of Tom Savini (Friday the 13th, Dawn of the Dead) to Special Make-up Effects.

The movie is slated for international release later this year and is being sold by Darclight Films (Wolf Creek, Bait 3D, The Loved Ones). Pinnacle Films (Drive, The Reef) is distributing in Australia and New Zealand. Redd Inc was directed by Daniel Krige (West), featuring cult favourite Nicholas Hope (Bad Boy Bubby) as Redd and supported by a stellar young cast, Redd Inc. was shot in March/April 2011.

The trailer can be seen here: http://youtube.com/reddincthemovie and more information about the project can be found at http://blog.reddincthemovie.com

The movie has notched up considerable notoriety online for its innovative use of crowd sourcing for supporting roles, artwork and music. The world-first campaign ran from August 2010 to January 2011 providing scripts and instructions for people to perform and submit to the movie. Winners were found from amongst almost 1000 submissions from 64 countries and appear in the film.

SHIFTER is a 2011 American style Vampire horror film written by Kyle Kaos and directed by Jason X (Jason Charles Xavier).

The film centers on eight friends on a week-end cabin get-a way, who are haunted by the disappearance of a young couple; last seen taking a walk in woods. It is presented in the style of “live action comic book,” with the material being proposed in such a way, the audience feels immersed in the film itself, like they were the ninth friend in the group, as the story unravels. A cinematic gem shot for a very modest budget, Shifter holds the credibility of a classic horror, while maintaining a humorous undertone throughout, never taking itself too serious, but serious enough to scare the crap of you.

Originally developed as an independent feature, Shifter is presently being shopped around worldwide, already showing strong interest in European markets, even before being released to festivals.

A sequel, entitled SHIFTING, already in development, will be released on October, 2013, and will be followed by a third film titled SHIFTED on June, 2014 to complete the 3 box trilogy.

To celebrate their recent engagement, Dan and Katy take their friends, John, Jenny and Gary, on a weekend camping trip to a forest. Unbeknown to the group they pitch up camp right next to where a man is about to bury a local missing child. The man watches closely by and it’s not long before their drink and drug fuelled night descends into chaos.

With the girls now asleep the three guys argue when Dan discovers some kids clothing hanging in a nearby bush. Jon makes a stand that “it’s too dark to pack up” and that “no-one even knows which way the cars are”. Dan reluctantly goes along with the fatal decision to wait until the morning.

The group awake in the early hours to find themselves shackled and chained to tree’s and the children’s clothes missing. With their every move being watched by a psychotic killer, the group now more then ever need to work as a team. But it’s not long before things begin to fall apart as jealousy and betrayal rip through their tender alliances.

As they enter a deadly game of cat and mouse, bad judgement and wrong decisions cause each relationship to split up both physically and emotionally. Are the group able to put their differences aside in order to exit the forest alive, or will the killer win and leave our group ‘Young, High and Dead’?

The story mainly follows Claire (played by Sarah Yenkelun) who is the location manager for a local production company trying to make a film. When she sets her sights on a vintage “warehouse,” the curiosity of the past overpowers her. The discovery of an old newspaper article detailing the murder of two people in the building make her concerned for others safety. Soon she begins to discover the bodies of others and must unravel the truth behind it all. As the body count rises, she is thrown into the world of the dead and must maneuver through time to survive.

Key Cast:

Claire – Sarah Yenkelun

Howland - Drew Cavanaugh

The Keeper – Joseph Del Carmine

Writer and Director – Domenic Del Carmine

With no budget and a limited amount of days to film, Howland became such a journey to make! The cast became close to the story and aided in the creation of the final product. The story was not based on any actual events, however, it was a fictional tale about ghostly apparitions and a girl whose character changes from the beginning to the end of the film – she becomes a strong willed individual. During the filming of Howland, the bulk of us were on the edge of graduating high school, so to create something such as a 26 minute feature was exciting and new! As a writer and director, it’s one of my largest projects that I’ve taken on, and I couldn’t be more happy with the product.

Lance Preston and the crew of “Grave Encounters”, a ghost-hunting reality television show, are shooting an episode inside the abandoned Collingwood Psychiatric Hospital, where unexplained phenomena has been reported for years. All in the name of good television, they voluntarily lock themselves inside the building for the night and begin a paranormal investigation, capturing everything on camera. They quickly realize that the building is more than just haunted – it is alive – and it has no intention of ever letting them leave. They find themselves lost in a labyrinth maze of endless hallways and corridors, terrorized by the ghosts of the former patients. They soon begin to question their own sanity, slipping deeper and deeper into the depths of madness, ultimately discovering the truth behind the hospital’s dark past…and taping what turns out to be their final episode.

ABOUT THE FILMMAKERS: The Vicious Brothers is the writing/directing collaboration between 25 year old filmmakers Colin Minihan and Stuart Ortiz. They first met through a filmmaking web forum in 1999, and bonded through their shared love of horror/sci-fi films and a mutual hatred of film school. Together, they have written four feature film scripts and collaborated on dozens of media projects. Their debut feature film, “Grave Encounters,” has recently acquired domestic distribution through Tribeca Film and will have its world premiere at the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival. The trailer for the film, which they produced themselves, quickly went viral on the internet and gathered 1.5 million youtube hits in only 3 months.
