I Am ZoZo is about five young people who play with a Ouija board and attract the attention of the malevolent Ouija demon ZoZo. The film is based on widely reported real experiences with this ancient and malevolent spirit that attaches itself to people exclusively through Ouija boards. Shot last Halloween on location on San Juan Island, WA, I Am ZoZo was filmed entirely on Super8mm.

“Grave Encounters” a ghost hunting documentary that was directed by Lance Preston, are going to shoot an episode inside the long abandoned Collingwood Psychiatric Hospital, where unexplained phenomena has been reported for years.
Lance Preston and his crew voluntarily lock themselves inside the building for the night and begin a paranormal investigation, capturing everything on camera. They quickly realize that the building is more than just haunted – it is alive – and it has no intention of ever letting them leave. They find themselves lost in a labyrinth maze of endless hallways and corridors, terrorized by the ghosts of the former patients. They soon begin to question their own sanity, slipping deeper and deeper into the depths of madness, ultimately discovering the truth behind the hospital’s dark past…and taping what turns out to be their final episode.
Albert’s Review: “A lot of people thought that this was real footage, that shows that it’s a good movie, I received a lot of questions about Lance Preston but I had to tell visitors that this wasn’t real. I like the movie, acting is ok and story good”

Do you remember staying up late to watch your favorite horror host on local television? With VHS tape in hand to record all the action (and hopefully not tape over anything important – like your home movies) this nearly forgotten ritual was a mainstay of our youth.
“Kids Go To the Woods… Kids Get Dead” brings back the classic slasher flick with horny teenagers, worthless cops, a crazy war vet and a masked killer. Complete with VHS static, fake commercials and featuring vignettes with horror hostess Candy Adams.
It’s Casey’s (Leah Rudick) birthday and to celebrate her and her friends are headed to a cabin in the woods for a wild weekend of sex, drugs and partying. A crazed Killer (Joseph Campellone) has other plans for them and it’s up to Casey’s younger brother Scott (Andrew Waffenschmidt), aided by a mysterious novel that seems to spell out their fate, to find their only hope of survival.

This October, NCM Fathom will take you on an eerie journey back in time to the 1888 dimly lit nightscape of the cobbled stone streets of London where the infamous murderer dubbed Jack the Ripper terrorized the impoverished Whitechapel district.
NCM Fathom, SuperVision Media, and Butterfinger present Fathom Thriller Thursdays – a horrifying event bringing two nights of terror to movie theaters nationwide on October 13 and 27.
Starting at 7:30 pm (local time) fans will be treated to the first ever showing of Butterfinger the 13th, a special horror featurette. Butterfinger the 13th is the story of a troubled young camper that disappears in a bizarre fire, leaving nothing but questions and dark legends of the Masked Butterfinger Butcher behind.
Then at 8:15 pm (local time) Fathom Thriller Thursdays will feature the intriguing docu-drama, Jack the Ripper: The Definitive Story, which exposes the truth behind the legendary killer, including key evidence from Scotland Yard, as well as segments with forensic experts, criminologists and historians discussing why Britain’s favorite mass murder remains unsolved to this day. Jack the Ripper: The Definitive Story comes to select movie theaters on Thursday, October 13 and October 27.

SHIFTER is a 2011 American style Vampire horror film written by Kyle Kaos and directed by Jason X (Jason Charles Xavier).
The film centers on eight friends on a week-end cabin get-a way, who are haunted by the disappearance of a young couple; last seen taking a walk in woods. It is presented in the style of “live action comic book,” with the material being proposed in such a way, the audience feels immersed in the film itself, like they were the ninth friend in the group, as the story unravels. A cinematic gem shot for a very modest budget, Shifter holds the credibility of a classic horror, while maintaining a humorous undertone throughout, never taking itself too serious, but serious enough to scare the crap of you.
Originally developed as an independent feature, Shifter is presently being shopped around worldwide, already showing strong interest in European markets, even before being released to festivals.
A sequel, entitled SHIFTING, already in development, will be released on October, 2013, and will be followed by a third film titled SHIFTED on June, 2014 to complete the 3 box trilogy.

To celebrate their recent engagement, Dan and Katy take their friends, John, Jenny and Gary, on a weekend camping trip to a forest. Unbeknown to the group they pitch up camp right next to where a man is about to bury a local missing child. The man watches closely by and it’s not long before their drink and drug fuelled night descends into chaos.
With the girls now asleep the three guys argue when Dan discovers some kids clothing hanging in a nearby bush. Jon makes a stand that “it’s too dark to pack up” and that “no-one even knows which way the cars are”. Dan reluctantly goes along with the fatal decision to wait until the morning.
The group awake in the early hours to find themselves shackled and chained to tree’s and the children’s clothes missing. With their every move being watched by a psychotic killer, the group now more then ever need to work as a team. But it’s not long before things begin to fall apart as jealousy and betrayal rip through their tender alliances.
As they enter a deadly game of cat and mouse, bad judgement and wrong decisions cause each relationship to split up both physically and emotionally. Are the group able to put their differences aside in order to exit the forest alive, or will the killer win and leave our group ‘Young, High and Dead’?
