This Movie made Sissy Spacek a star and featured John Travolta and Amy Irving in their first important screen roles.

They make friends with the neighbors which are an elderly couple named Roman and Minnie Castevet. Guy begins to spend a lot of time with them. Weird things start to happen like that of the mysterious death of a woman Rosemary meets in the washroom, Rosemary has strange dreams and starts to hear strange noises and Guy becomes remote and distant. Rosemary falls pregnant and she starts to suspect that her neighbors have special plans for her baby.

Anna feels puzzled, frightened and feeling still alive. Anna still cannot believe she’s dead even though the funeral director reassurances that she is merely in transition to the afterlife. He tells her he has the gift to communicate with the dead and is the only one who can help her. She’s trapped inside the funeral home, with nobody to turn to except Eliot, at this point Anna has to accept her own death. Paul (Justin Long) Anna’s boyfriend is still not convinced that she’s dead and he becomes suspicious of Eliot. Will Paul manage to find out if Anna is still alive or not?

The Alphabet Killer is based on the double initial killings in Rochester, New York in the early 1970s, in this movie a girl is abducted, raped, and murdered. Detective Megan Paige is the investigator assigned to this murder, she works long hours obsessively, and in a little while she’s having apparitions of the dead girl. The FBI profiles the killer as a impulsive drifter, lucky not to get caught, Detective Megan thinks he’s a local and a disciplined planner. What she notes is that the victim’s first and last names and the place the body was left start with the letter “C.” When a second murder follows the same pattern, she is correct, but her obsessions get the best of her, and her mental state impedes her work. With the help of medication, therapy, and a friend, can she regain her balance? Will she catch the alphabet killer?

While the others fight for their lives, Sarah, who’s still recovering from a mental problems brought on by the tragic deaths of her daughter and husband, is fighting for her sanity. When some secrets are exposed, the friends turn on one another. The only way that Sarah can make it is that she must become as savage as the creatures themselves.
