Detective Bowden is still brokenhearted for his wife’s and son’s death from a hit-and-run five years before. He’s sent to investigate a suicidal person who jumped off from the top of a skyscraper onto a truck.
In the meantime five strangers are trapped in an elevator in the building where the jumper committed suicide. Communication in the elevator is out of order but the guards, watch the individuals via CCTV as events develop. Tensions in the elevator are high, so Lustig calls the police and Detective Bowden takes the case. With no way to contact the trapped persons he tries to work out who they are and realizes he can only account for four of them. Time is running out for the trapped in the elevator as Bowden realizes he has to get them out quickly.

The Loved Ones

The movie starts with Brent Mitchell trying to avoid an injured man in the road, but ends up wrapping his car in a tree, killing his father. Regularly confronted by his mother’s collapse after the accident, he tries to escape the problems with marijuana and heavy metal music to try block the pain and guilt. Unhappy and out of luck, at least he got his girlfriend Holly to cheer him up. But his plans are let down by a distressing series of events that take place under a mirrored disco ball which involving pink satin, glitter, syringes, nails, power drills and a secret admirer. He has become the prom king at a horrid, brutal event where he is the entertainment.
Albert’s Review: “I thought it was going to be another crappy teen horror movie, but it turned out to be quite a good sick and bloody movie.”

Weird things start to happen like that of the mysterious death of a woman Rosemary meets in the washroom, Rosemary has strange dreams and starts to hear strange noises and Guy becomes remote and distant. Rosemary falls pregnant and she starts to suspect that her neighbors have special plans for her baby.

Karen is distressed by the old lady’s unusual behavior, she never talks and sleeps throughout the day. Karen fids out that the house is haunted by a curse, a curse that will kill anyone who enters the house. After numerous horrendous deaths, she finds herself locked in a race against time to save herself from the curse of the The Grudge.
