No one would be stupid enough to use a Starbucks table for their time-transcending messages since Starbucks furniture isn’t built to last (it’s built to be recycled into reduced-fat crumb cake). It seems like the first guy was going for a 2001: A Space Odyssey vibe, but the rest of the letter-writing participants (if there is more than one) did not pick up on it. We’re not sure the logic of these notes totally holds up, but we love shit like this, so carry on. And please bring Dave home safely.
